Min Hee-Jin, former CEO of ADOR, has officially resigned from her position following a seven-month dispute with parent company Hybe. The announcement marks the end of her tenure that began in 2019 when she joined Hybe as a brand officer before becoming ADOR's CEO in 2021.

The conflict began in spring 2023 when Hybe initiated an internal audit, accusing Min and her team of attempting to take control of ADOR. Min denied these allegations, claiming they were retaliation for her whistleblowing activities and internal complaints.

The dispute escalated into multiple lawsuits, resulting in the dismissal of previous ADOR shareholders and Min's removal as CEO in August. After the Seoul Central District Court rejected her reinstatement injunction, Min decided to leave her internal director position at Hybe entirely.

In her resignation letter, Min vowed to:

  • Hold Hybe legally accountable for violating shareholders' agreements
  • Take legal action against alleged illegal activities by Hybe
  • Continue her career in the K-pop industry
  • Pursue legal action against any malicious defamation attempts

Min expressed gratitude to NewJeans' fans (Bunnies) and supporters during the controversy, while criticizing what she termed Hybe's "moral hazard" and "dirty media play." She emphasized that actions driven by malice shouldn't compromise business integrity.

Hybe has not issued an official response to Min's resignation statement.
