Massive Ticketmaster Data Breach Exposes 560 Million Customers' Personal and Payment Information
Ticketmaster reportedly suffered a massive data breach affecting 560 million customers, with hackers claiming to have stolen 1.3 terabytes of sensitive personal information. The hacker group ShinyHunters is allegedly attempting to sell the stolen data for $500,000.

The compromised data reportedly includes:
- Full customer details (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers)
- Order information
- Payment details (partial credit card numbers, expiration dates)
ShinyHunters, who allegedly owns Breach Forums, has contacted Ticketmaster regarding the breach. However, neither Ticketmaster nor parent company Live Nation has issued an official statement addressing the situation.
This security incident comes at a challenging time for Live Nation, which is currently:
- Facing a Department of Justice antitrust lawsuit
- Managing a multibillion-dollar class action
- Dealing with ongoing criticism from the Eras Tour pre-sale issues
The breach has already sparked concerns across social media, particularly among Taylor Swift fans. Recent reports from Lloyds Bank indicate that Swifties in the UK lost approximately $1.2 million to ticket scams for Swift's June concerts in London and Cardiff.
