Mariah Carey's holiday classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You" has made history by becoming the first Christmas song to surpass 2 billion streams on Spotify, while also earning 16x Platinum certification from the RIAA.

"I'm honored to have 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' be the first holiday track on Spotify to reach two billion streams!" Carey expressed gratefully, acknowledging fans who've made the song a holiday tradition.
Released in November 1994, the song has seen remarkable growth in recent years, with global streams increasing 120% over the past five years. Since November 1, streaming numbers have surged dramatically:
- 860% increase globally
- 1,100% increase in the United States
- Topped Spotify's Daily Top Songs chart in 21 countries
- Maintained Christmas #1 position since 2016
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of her "Merry Christmas" album, Carey completed a 20-city tour through December 17, covering major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Newark, and St. Louis.
