Lil Wayne's sports agency, Young Money Sports, has secured a major win by signing Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter for NFL representation. Hunter, projected as a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, chose Young Money APAA Sports over major competitors including WME, CAA, Klutch Sports Group, and Athletes First.

During his Heisman Trophy acceptance speech, Hunter revealed his connection to Lil Wayne through his fiancée, who introduced him to Wayne's music. Hunter now exclusively listens to Wayne's songs during pregame preparation, even performing part of "6 Foot 7 Foot" during the ceremony.

Hunter will maintain his relationship with SMAC Entertainment for off-field representation, which has already secured several significant NIL deals for him, including a long-term partnership with Adidas that will continue into his professional career.
