
Last Chance: How to Claim Your Missing $1,400 IRS Stimulus Check Before 2025 Deadline
The IRS continues sending $1,400 stimulus payments to eligible taxpayers who missed the final round of Covid-19 relief. To receive your payment, you must file a claim before April 15, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements:
Single filers:
- Full payment: Income of $75,000 or less in 2021
- Partial payment: Income between $75,000-$80,000
- No payment: Income above $80,000
Married couples filing jointly:
- Full payment: Income of $150,000 or less
- Partial payment: Income between $150,000-$160,000
- No payment: Income above $160,000
Dependents are eligible for an additional $1,400 each, subject to the primary filer's income limits.
How to Claim Your Payment:
- File a 2021 tax return before April 15, 2025
- Check eligibility for the Recovery Rebate Credit
- Provide direct deposit information for faster payment
Important Notes:
- Filing a 2021 tax return is required even if you weren't originally required to file
- The IRS automatically sends payments to some taxpayers who previously filed with incorrect Recovery Rebate Credit data
- After April 15, 2025, unclaimed stimulus payments will be forfeited
- You can still claim the payment even if you didn't file taxes in 2021
