Jay-Z faces renewed paternity claims from Rymir Satterthwaite, who alleges the rapper is his biological father, amid recent sexual assault allegations.

Satterthwaite, 31, filed a new lawsuit on November 25 claiming Carter's legal team "acted fraudulently" during previous attempts to establish paternity. The suit names several New Jersey courts and judges, including the state's Supreme Court, alleging constitutional rights violations from 2012 to 2023.

Key details of the case:

  • Wanda Satterthwaite (Rymir's late mother) stated in a sworn affidavit that she had relations with Carter in 1992 when she was 16
  • Rymir was born in summer 1993
  • Initial paternity case began in Camden County, NJ in 2012
  • Previous potential father Robert Graves was ruled out through DNA testing
  • Case dismissal in Pennsylvania due to age restrictions (must establish paternity before 18)
  • New Jersey law allows parentage cases until age 23

The lawsuit alleges Carter's legal team made false statements about his New Jersey property ownership to avoid a court-ordered paternity test. His attorney, Lise Fisher, later admitted to "misspeaking" about Carter's property holdings in the state.

Satterthwaite and his guardian, Dr. Lillie Coley, suggest Carter's resistance to paternity testing may be related to Wanda's underage status at the time of conception.

This paternity dispute resurfaces as Carter faces separate allegations of sexual assault from 2000, in a case also involving Sean "Diddy" Combs.
