Gunna's Former Attorney Defends Client Against Snitch Allegations, Says "Get Over It"
Attorney Steve Sadow, former co-lead counsel for rapper Gunna, has addressed persistent accusations about his client's alleged cooperation with authorities. His statement firmly denies any allegations of Gunna helping prosecutors in the YSL RICO case.

Key points from Sadow's statement:
- Gunna did not cooperate or harm Young Thug's case
- He spent 8 months in jail before his release in December 2022
- He entered an Alford plea, maintaining his innocence
- The plea was not used in Young Thug's trial
- Gunna received a 5-year suspended sentence with no restrictions
Sadow emphasized that since his release, Gunna has:
- Performed worldwide
- Achieved international recognition
- Earned millions of dollars
In contrast, Young Thug:
- Spent 30 months in jail
- Received 15 years probation
- Must report to authorities
- Cannot live in Atlanta
Sadow noted that both rappers initially faced identical potential sentences under RICO charges. Young Thug's eventual plea deal in October included strict conditions, including a 10-year ban from the Atlanta metropolitan area, despite having what REFORM Alliance's chief policy officer Eric Haney described as "phenomenal lawyers."
The attorney concluded by addressing critics: "Those that have and continue to bad mouth Gunna, get over it. 'Nuff said."
