GoldState Music Acquires Major Music Catalogs Including Blink-182 and Avril Lavigne in $200M Deal
GoldState Music has reportedly acquired $200 million worth of music catalogs, expanding its portfolio with significant stakes in releases from major artists including Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, and others.

The West Palm Beach-based private investment firm has made two notable acquisitions:
- Amplified Music Rights (AMR):
- Full catalog acquisition
- Key personnel transitions including AMR CEO Tamara Conniff becoming GoldState's chief creative officer
- Includes works from Christian songwriters, Fitz and the Tantrums' Jeremy Ruzumna, and The Lovin' Spoonful's John Sebastian
- Catch Point Rights Partners:
- Partial catalog acquisition
- Rights to works from artists including:
- Ariana Grande
- Blink-182
- Avril Lavigne
- Kygo
- Lionel Richie
- Gwen Stefani
- Queens of the Stone Age
These acquisitions follow GoldState's partnership with Flexpoint Ford and their $165 million investment in Create Music Group. The company has also strengthened its team through internal promotions, including Ben Chaiken's elevation to senior research analyst.
Catch Point Rights Partners maintains partial ownership of their catalog and plans to continue acquiring music rights with their remaining capital. This transaction reflects the ongoing trend of substantial investments in music IP as the industry heads into 2025.
