Joseph Sherman, a former bodyguard for Sean "Diddy" Combs, strongly denies allegations of sexual assault from over 20 years ago, calling them part of a coordinated "money grab" targeting Diddy.

The lawsuit, filed by Thalia Graves, alleges that in 2001, she was drugged and assaulted by both Diddy and Sherman at Bad Boy Entertainment offices. Sherman maintains he has never met Graves and wasn't in New York when the alleged incident occurred. He had already left Bad Boy Records by 2001.

According to Sherman, Graves contacted him via Instagram in late 2023, asking him to testify against Diddy in exchange for being excluded from legal proceedings. He refused, stating, "I don't know this lady from anywhere. It's a lie on me."

The accusations have severely impacted Sherman's life, making it difficult to find employment. He plans to file a defamation counterclaim and disputes additional allegations about involvement in pornography, clarifying that his media work involves urban rap magazines.

This case emerges amid broader legal challenges for Diddy, who faces over 100 new allegations of sexual assault and trafficking. Sherman emphasizes that his relationship with Diddy was strictly professional during his time as a security guard, and he has had no contact with the music mogul since leaving Bad Boy Records.

Sherman's legal team is now focused on clearing his name and pursuing legal action against those responsible for what they maintain are false accusations.
