Diplo Revenge Porn Case Dismissed After Judge Orders Accuser Identity Reveal
A revenge porn lawsuit against DJ and music producer Diplo has been voluntarily dismissed after the court ruled that the anonymous accuser must reveal their identity to proceed with the case.
The Jane Doe plaintiff, who filed the lawsuit alleging revenge porn incidents dating back to 2016, withdrew the case "in its entirety" through their legal counsel. While no specific reason was provided for the dismissal, it followed a judge's ruling that the accuser would need to disclose their identity to continue the legal proceedings.

The dismissal represents another legal victory for the 46-year-old producer, who recently settled a separate sexual assault case with Shelly Auguste. That case, which included counteracting stalking claims from Diplo, was scheduled for trial in January before reaching settlement.
Prior to this dismissal, the anonymous accuser had:
- Filed a report with the NYPD (investigation status unknown)
- Argued for maintaining anonymity citing potential retaliation
- Made allegations dating back to 2016
Diplo has consistently denied all allegations, acknowledging only "a night of consensual sex" with Auguste in the separate case. A third sexual assault lawsuit was previously withdrawn, with the accuser expressing "regret" after Diplo reportedly found video evidence of the encounter.
Currently, Diplo remains focused on his professional endeavors, including raising over $160,000 for the Los Angeles Fire Department and preparing for upcoming pre-Super Bowl performances in New Orleans.
