Diplo Denies Revenge Porn Claims, Tells Fans: 'Don't Believe the News Reports'
Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, has responded to recent revenge porn allegations through an Instagram post, accompanied by photos and videos of his European tour performances.
The 45-year-old DJ faces a lawsuit filed by a New York woman (identified as Jane Doe) in California federal court on June 27. The complaint details their relationship, which began via Snapchat in April 2016 when she was 21 and he was 37, continuing until October 2023.

Key allegations in the lawsuit:
- Jane Doe claims they exchanged intimate photos and videos during their relationship
- She explicitly did not consent to recording or distribution of intimate content
- In November 2023, another woman contacted her claiming to possess intimate images received from Diplo
- The matter has been reported to NYPD, resulting in an ongoing investigation
Diplo's attorney, Bryan J. Freedman, responded to Vanity Fair, stating that his client has been repeatedly targeted by "untrustworthy individuals and their unscrupulous lawyers" seeking financial gain.
This is not Diplo's first legal battle involving similar allegations. He faces a separate case with Shelly Auguste since 2020, with a civil trial scheduled for January 2025. No criminal charges have been filed in either case.
