Additional features include new music-focused advertising-supported video on demand (AVoD) offerings from UMG's Mercury Studios, allowing viewers to access Def Jam artists' content on-demand.

"Over the last 40 years, Def Jam has consistently led the charge in pioneering new ways for our artists to celebrate their creativity and connect with fans," says Def Jam Chairman and CEO Tunji Balogun. "We are excited to partner with Tubi in an effort to reach new audiences by embracing dynamic, innovative platforms."

The launch is part of Def Jam's broader 40th-anniversary celebrations, which have included special shows on Apple TV and pop-up events in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Mercury's Senior VP of Digital Content & Partnerships, Dan Borrelli, emphasizes that "FAST channels like these can give artists the ability to reach fans easily and build lasting relationships with audiences," highlighting the strategic importance of this new platform for artist-fan connections.
