Death Row Records Co-Founder Files $107 Million Lawsuit Against Snoop Dogg, Suge Knight and Music Executives

The lawsuit, filed in Texas, stems from Harris's role as Death Row Records' co-founder and first vice president. In 2005, she won a $107 million judgment following a civil trial regarding her and her husband Michael "Harry-O" Harris's founding role in the label.
Key allegations in the lawsuit include:
- Hidden financial records
- Fraudulent motion filings
- Abuse of bankruptcy court
- No payments received in 20 years since the original judgment
The dispute originates from a $1.5 million investment made by Harry-O Harris in Death Row Records' launch during the 1980s. The investment came with an expected 50% profit share agreement. However, Knight allegedly became distant while Harry-O served a 28-year prison sentence.
Snoop Dogg's involvement stems from his 2022 acquisition of Death Row Records from MNRK Music Group. Harris claims Knight used "systematic misrepresentation and fraudulent telecommunications" to avoid payment obligations.
The lawsuit seeks:
- Punitive damages
- Recovery of owed assets
- Complete accounting of Death Row Records' finances
