Stefan Engblom from Dada Life, the renowned electronic music duo, has been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a rare and chronic liver disease. He is currently awaiting a liver transplant in Stockholm.

Over the past 18 months, Engblom has undergone seven ERCP procedures, with recent complications including pancreatitis and sepsis. The wait time for a compatible liver could range from one day to two years, requiring him to stay close to Stockholm during this period.

Post-transplant, Engblom faces a minimum two-year break from touring and will need lifelong immunosuppressant medication. Despite these challenges, he maintains a positive outlook, stating, "This is not the end; it's the beginning of an upgraded version of myself."

While Stefan focuses on recovery, Dada Life's legacy continues through their iconic electronic dance music, including hits like "Feed the Dada" and "Born to Rage." The duo is also known for their production tools, such as the popular "Sausage Fattener" and "Endless Smile" plugins, which are widely used in electronic music production.
