The film is being developed by Compelling Pictures and Primary Wave, with original members Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris serving as executive producers. Denis O'Sullivan ("Bohemian Rhapsody") and Jeff Kalligheri ("I Wanna Dance With Somebody") are leading the project as producers.

The biopic will feature the group's extensive catalog of hits, including "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," "One Sweet Day," and "On Bended Knee." It promises to showcase both the triumphs and challenges of their journey, highlighting the brotherhood and friendship that has sustained their success since their 1991 debut.

Joe Mulvihill, the group's manager of over 22 years, suggests the film will reveal previously untold stories, stating, "People will be pleasantly surprised to see behind the curtain." The project aims to introduce Boyz II Men to a new generation while celebrating their lasting impact on R&B music.

The group continues to perform actively, recently selling out three nights at the Hollywood Bowl, marking their first headlining performance at the prestigious venue where they once served as an opening act.
