The tour announcement was revealed through an Instagram video featuring a desert nightscape with illuminated "COWBOY CARTER TOUR" signage. A follow-up post showcased Beyoncé with bleached-blonde braids and bold red lipstick.
Originally scheduled for January 14, the announcement was delayed due to Los Angeles wildfires. Beyoncé demonstrated her commitment to the community by donating $2.5 million to local relief funds through her BeyGood Foundation.
The Christmas Day Halftime show provided a preview of what fans can expect, featuring performances of:
- "Texas Hold 'Em"
- "16 Carriages"
- "Sweet Honey Buckiin'" (with Shaboozey)
- "Levii's Jeans" (with Post Malone)
- Cover versions of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and The Beatles' "Blackbird"
The tour announcement comes as Beyoncé leads the 2025 Grammy nominations with 11 nods, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Country Solo Performance. Already holding the record for most Grammy wins (32), she continues to pursue her first Album of the Year award.
Tour dates and ticket information will be announced soon through official channels.
