ASCAP has reported record-breaking revenue of $1.84 billion in 2024, marking a 5.7% year-over-year increase, though showing slower growth compared to 2023's 14.1% spike.

  • $1.70 billion available for royalty distributions (up 6.5% YoY)
  • $1.28 billion in domestic distributions, including $53 million in Songwize distributions

  • Foreign collections: $438 million (up 6.8% YoY)
  • Foreign distributions: $411 million (up 9.8% YoY)

ASCAP welcomed 80,000 new members in 2024, including notable artists Def Leppard, Kacey Musgraves, Jack White, and Graham Nash. As the only non-profit PRO in the United States, ASCAP returns 90 cents of every dollar collected to creators.

CEO Elizabeth Matthews emphasized ASCAP's commitment to creators, stating, "We are the only US PRO that does not take a profit and the only one that can credibly say we put creators first in everything we do."
