Amazon has partnered with AI music company Suno to integrate AI song generation capabilities into Alexa+. Users can now create complete songs, including vocals, lyrics, and instrumentation, using simple voice commands through their Alexa devices.


The partnership is part of Amazon's broader rollout of next-generation Alexa+ features. Users can request personalized songs for various occasions, from birthday tributes to character-themed raps, all generated through AI technology.

Suno, while being one of the leading AI music models in the market, faces ongoing legal challenges. The company is currently involved in lawsuits with major music labels including Sony Music, Universal Music, and Warner Music Group, as well as German collection society GEMA, over copyright infringement concerns related to their AI training data.

Despite these legal challenges, Suno has secured notable industry partnerships, including strategic advisors like Timbaland and EDM artist 3LAU. The Amazon partnership comes shortly after Universal announced an "expanded global relationship" with Amazon Music, which included agreements to address unauthorized AI-generated content.
