Adam Wilkes will assume the role of AEG Presents' president and CEO for Europe and Asia-Pacific starting February 1st. Wilkes, who has been instrumental in developing AEG's Asia-Pacific presence, will relocate from Singapore to London in 2025.

Alex Hill has been promoted to president and CEO of AEG International. Based in London, Hill will oversee AEG's sports teams and venues in Europe, while also managing new venue development and operations in Asia-Pacific and other non-U.S. markets.

In the new structure, Wilkes will report to AEG Presents CEO Jay Marciano, while Hill will report to AEG CEO Dan Beckerman.

This international expansion follows AEG's recent strategic moves, including:

  • Expansion of AXS ticketing platform into Germany
  • Partnership with Australia's Playbill Group
  • Focus on developing new venues and experiences globally

The restructuring aligns with broader industry trends, as competitors like Live Nation also expand internationally, recently announcing plans for their first Southeast Asian music venue in Singapore.

Recent industry developments also include KKR's acquisition of Superstruct, which subsequently purchased Boiler Room from Dice, indicating continued consolidation and growth in the global live entertainment sector.
