A$AP Rocky's Attorney Declines Diddy Case Over Roc Nation Loyalty
Renowned attorney Joe Tacopina, known for successfully defending A$AP Rocky, has declined to represent Sean 'Diddy' Combs in his ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering case, citing his strong relationships with Jay-Z and Roc Nation.

Speaking on The Breakfast Club, Tacopina explained his decision: "I represent Roc Nation; a lot of people in Roc I'm very close with." He emphasized his close ties to Jay-Z, Roc Nation president Desiree Perez, and Jay Brown, describing them as "family."
The attorney's comments suggested underlying tensions between Diddy and Jay-Z, noting that while "Everyone wants a picture with P. Diddy at one time or another... when things got real, years and years ago, that's a different story."

Diddy currently awaits trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on serious charges that could result in life imprisonment. His current attorney, Marc Agnifilo, maintains his client's innocence, stating Diddy's move to New York shows "the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide."
Tacopina's refusal has sparked industry-wide discussion about the growing isolation of the once-powerful music mogul. With the trial set for May 2025, Diddy faces mounting challenges as more industry figures distance themselves from his legal troubles.
