A$AP Rocky Declines Plea Deal, Will Face Trial in Firearm Assault Case Against A$AP Relli
A$AP Rocky has rejected a plea deal in his ongoing firearm assault case involving former friend A$AP Relli, choosing to proceed to trial. The case stems from a November 6, 2021 incident where Rocky allegedly fired a gun at Terell Ephron (A$AP Relli), with bullets reportedly grazing Ephron's knuckles.

The declined plea deal included:
- Three years' probation
- Seven-year suspended prison sentence
- 180 days in county jail
- Required guilty plea to assault with a semiautomatic firearm
Rocky's attorney, Joe Tacopina, stated they have two witnesses prepared to testify that the gun seen in security footage was merely a prop carried for security purposes. Tacopina expressed confidence in Rocky's acquittal, noting his client's willingness to testify if necessary.
The rapper currently faces two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Rocky maintains several high-profile commitments, including serving as a celebrity chair at the Met Gala and a major role in an upcoming Spike Lee film alongside Denzel Washington.
The case continues as jury selection begins, with Rocky formally declining the plea offer by telling the judge, "I respectfully decline, thank you."
