The study, conducted by PMP Strategy, examines how generative AI will affect revenue streams for creators across multiple disciplines, including songwriters, composers, translators, directors, and screenwriters. Key components include:
- Economic projections of the AI content market size
- Analysis of potential creator income losses
- Revenue growth trends for AI companies
- Impact assessment on the creative industry
A distinguished panel will present the findings, featuring:
- Björn Ulvaeus (CISAC President)
- Angeles González-Sinde Reig (Vice President and film director)
- Marcelo Castello Branco (Board Chair)
- Gadi Oron (Director General)
CISAC, representing six million creators worldwide through authors' rights societies, commissioned this study to advocate for protecting human-made works that power the AI content market. Ulvaeus has emphasized the urgency of action, stating, "AI will bring the biggest revolution the creative sector has seen. We must raise our voices so they are heard by governments at the highest level."
